Since 1948, Herrljunga Träindustri AB has been a subcontractor to companies in the building furniture and interior industry. Göteborgs List & Trä (GLT) and Herrljunga Träindustri have since the profile wrapping technique came in Sweden in the 1980s developed into the leading producer. Since 2015, both of these companies operate in Herrljunga under the name GLT Herrljunga.
In 2015, both companies were bought and continued to be run as a family company. Our goal is to continue to be a creative, solution-oriented and active partner to our customers for many years.
Today’s modern component supplier does not have much in common with the carpentry shop from 1948 but one is the same: our pursuit of meeting our customers’ wishes for good products at the right price and quality!

In our new unique line for wide profile wrapping, we can foil/wrap up to 1300mm width.

Profile wrapping is a cost effective way when you want even quality and better properties for the end products. Our products are often used to avoid problems with whole wood, but still maintain the true wood surface and feel.
For example, we can deliver veneers as surface materials where we have lacquered, betted or oiled veneers to get a finished product without knots, dry- or end cracks. Profile wrapping minimizes waste in production and the opportunity is given to get the exact precision of the material.
