We do this by having a well-functioning system for the entire process of which all staff are aware. This process is regularly followed up and constantly improved. In addition, we also take steps to ensure that purchases from suppliers are compliant with the rules on controversial sources, which means that we declare that we are neither directly nor indirectly involved in any of the following activities:
• Illegal logging or trade in illegally harvested timber or forest products
• Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry
• Destruction of environments that are of high natural value to forestry – Significant conversion of forest to plantations or non-forestry use
• Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry
• Violation of any of the ILO core conventions, as defined in the 1998 ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
