Composite profiles
It is often sensible to have GLT Herrljunga assemble materials into a finished product. With extensive experience in, and knowledge of profile coating, we frequently collaborate with our customers to develop solutions that include composite profiles.
Folding profiles
Foil is strong enough to serve as a hinge in certain designs. We create this by wrapping the material and milling angled grooves through the entire core using our CNC machine. This process allows the foil on the opposite side to function as a hinge. This method enables us to efficiently produce practical solutions, such as sound diffusers.
Ribbed walls/ceilings
The simplest solutions can often seem complex. Wooden ribs are a common feature in public spaces, and we typically think of them as being made of solid wood. However, by using veneered or foiled MDF instead, we can save both time and money. This approach allows us to create ribs that are dense, free from knots and cracks, and precisely cut.
Assembly
In our assembly department, we can assemble profiles into a finished product/piece of furniture if the customer wishes.
